Portable easel
panels or canvases (variable sizes from 8 x 10 to 16 x 20 ----4-6)
suggested palette: ultramarine blue, alizarin crimson, lemon yellow, orange, titanium white
(i prefer that you use a limited palette such as this in the workshop)
I use linseed oil as a medium and odorless min spirits to clean my brushes
large brim hat /lightweight neutral colored shirt to cover up if sunny
mud boots ---if it's been raining!

If working in a water medium for workshop plan to use a similar palette.

I plan to do a demo 1st thing ---then i will ask you to do one 20 minute underpainting ---if that is successful---you spend 1 hour finishing that piece and then get to a new one----massing, color/value observation and execution , and putting energy and spirit into your work will be discussed.
